Like all our fabrics, this fabric is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. This label is awarded to a textile if it has been tested for harmful substances. Matt Velvet is made entirely of polyester. This fabric is characterised by its extremely fine structure, pleasant softness, fluffy texture and high durability. Matt Velvet combines timeless design with high functionality. It also has a special surface treatment that makes it water-repellent. This creates a hydrophobic layer that prevents liquids from penetrating the fabric quickly. The liquid condenses on the surface and does not penetrate immediately. You can simply wipe off the liquid with a soft cloth or paper towel.
